Salem's Rise by Rektok Ross

One year ago, Jacqueline’s brother vanished without a trace. The police called it an accident. Jacqueline knows better. His last message came from Salem’s Fall—a small New England town steeped in occult rituals and dark traditions. Determined to uncover the truth, Jacqueline enrolls at its elite university. Instead, she discovers a world she was never meant to see. Behind the school’s prestigious reputation lies the Veil, a secret society controlled by the town’s most powerful families—and their heirs rule the campus like kings.

To find her brother, Jacqueline must enter The Rites, a deadly competition where she becomes the most hunted player in the game. One winner will inherit unimaginable power. Most will die. Her only hope? Silas Blackhollow. Cruel. Untouchable. The beautiful monster everyone fears. The Rites are deadly. But trusting Silas Blackhollow may be even deadlier.
